I'm new to blogging, but not quite as new to Dante, having finally discovered him a few years ago -- "nel mezzo del cammin di mia vita," as Dante himself might have put it. I note that posts and comments in this blog are few and far between, but I herewith contribute this brief note, in the hope that it might spark some life and vitality into a discussion of a most worthwhile subject. If it does so, I plan to show up here much more frequently. We Dantisti are a merry and esoteric band, but there are more of us out there than you may realize.
